THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Chartered Building Surveyor to join a firm of consultants based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Duties will include undertaking professional and project work for a variety of clients across a number of sectors including education, commercial, residential etc.

You will need to have good technical experience and a good understanding of construction and property generally.

You will be involved in doing acquisition surveys, condition surveys and home buyers reports along with some project work including contract administration and project monitoring.

You must be able to work with little supervision and be able to do work withing required timescales.

My client is based in Kent and works on projects across London and the South East.

THE COMPANY

Our client is an established firm of construction consultants offering services to include building surveying, quantity surveying and project management.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying plus you will need to be MRICS qualified.

You will have at least two years post qualification experience or more.

You must have experience in all core Building Surveying duties in particular good experience of due diligence, surveys, and dilapidations, acquisition surveys etc.

You should have experience of contract administration and preparation of specifications and schedules of work. Some experience of project management preferred.

You should have good client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.

A full UK driving licence and own transport is required.

Salary around £45000 to £55000 slightly negotiable per annum + pension, discretionary performance related bonus.
