THE ROLE
I am seeking an ambitious Senior Project Manager to join my client, a growing firm of construction consultants in London.
You will work on office fit outs for occupiers, hotels, residential and more.
Projects generally valued from £2m to £10m with some much larger as my client is currently bidding for projects up to £100m.
You will work on the full run of project management duties from inception to project delivery. You may also supervise less experienced project managers.
THE COMPANY
My client is a successful growing firm of construction consultants providing project management and cost management services to private owners, occupiers, developers etc.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Senior Project Manager who has a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Project Management or similar subject and you will be MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA, ICE or similarly qualified.
You should be working for another firm of construction consultants or possibly be with a developer and have a stable work record in Project Management.
You should have excellent communication skills and be keen to work as part of a dynamic team.
You will need some experience of managing all aspects of contract administration, engaging with the client, construction and design teams to move the project forward to a successful completion.
You should have experience of using JCT contracts.
Experience of office fit outs, new build extension, refurbishment, residential, hotels useful.
Be able to write formal reports and documents.
Salary is negotiable according to your experience but likely to be in the range of £60000 to £70000 per annum plus pension, fees and discretionary bonus.
