THE ROLE
I am seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience of high value new build construction projects to join my client, a large firm of construction consultants in London.
You will work mainly on new build projects being responsible for project management and / or programme management.
You will work on the full run of project management duties from inception to project delivery. You may also supervise less experienced project managers.
You will administer contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager.
You will prepare bids for services and and manage service delivery for profit.
You will work closely with the business unit Directors.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing project management and cost management services to investors, private owners, occupiers, developers and they work on projects in the private and public sectors including some landmark construction projects.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Senior Project Manager who has a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Project Management or similar subject and you will be MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA, ICE, MAPM or similarly qualified.
You should be working for another firm of construction consultants or possibly be with a developer and have a stable work record in Project Management.
You should have experience of administering contracts as the contract administrator, employer’s agent and / or project manager.
You must have a clear understanding of legislation impacting on all building contracts.
Salary is negotiable according to your experience but likely to be in the range of £65000 to £75000 per annum plus pension, car allowance, fees and discretionary bonus.
